I receive from Let's Encrypt emails warning me that my certificate will expire, in accordance with their [email policy](https://letsencrypt.org/docs/expiration-emails/). **The certificate is ultimately correctly renewed by Traefik**. An example of such an email from yesterday (2024-09-15):

> Your certificate (or certificates) for the names listed below will expire in 19 days (on 2024-10-05). Please make sure to renew your certificate before then, or visitors to your web site will encounter errors.

Would it be possible for Traefik to renew a few days earlier in order to avoid receiving this useful email when everything is OK, and have it alert when there is actually a renewal issue?

Hmmmm. I checked the certificate on one of my sites and I have

![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/containo/original/2X/c/c049915cd973542661c340a9a3af6dd937e26a2e.png)

After giving a thought about the discrepancy - this may be an artifact of my attempts to convert to wildcard certs (which was successful, but a cert may have been generated and not used → the one I got an email for)

I am however leaving this question open, to get a few "it works fine for me, I never get the reminder emails") to close it as "specific case, everything is OK"

Works for me. I only get emails for (sub-)domains I am not using anymore.
